Madison's Own Trash Panda's Store

If you've driver past Hughes Plaza (aka the East Madison Shopping Center) recently, you probably have seen the amazing changes and developments going on there. From new sweet treats and coffee to outdoor and exercise focused stores, there are many new options to choose from there. Among them is a famous local face that most of us here in Madison would recognize: Sprocket the Raccoon is back in Madison. The Trash Pandas merchandise store that was previously located at Bridge Street has now been moved to 181 Hughes Rd.

Amy Davis, the manager of the new Trash Pandas store in Hughes Plaza, talked about how this new location was perfect for their move from Bridge Street. The location is perfect for any Madison locals who did not want to make the drive over to Bridge Street to buy their Trash Panda t-shirt and hats. With the Madison location, it's the perfect spot for residents to shop there on the way to the night's game, some stepping in as close as 30 minutes before the opening pitch. Between the welcoming Madison community and the growing economic area near the shopping center, the relationship between the store and Madison City is becoming a very beneficial one. Davis mentioned that Madison and the Trash Pandas have become so intertwined that many people from out of town stop by this store on the way to the airport to bring home a souvenir of Madison.

When you step through those doors, you'll see rows and rows of merchandise. Multiple options for hats, t-shirts, and jerseys are all on display for you to choose from. In the very back, special limited edition signed jerseys have been framed and put on display to show the many different unique looks the team has gone through. One is even Star Wars themed to look like Boba Fett's armor! They even have merchandise for children, making it a location for the entire family to come in, walk around, and buy whatever fits their fancy.
"We're happy to be in Madison and to have the new store located here," store manager Amy Davis says. "A lot of people have always said they wanted a Madison location for the store and now they have one. We're excited to be a part of the Madison community and to serve the city that has supported us so much already."
